My wishlist for Kiribati

Here's my wishlist of shtuff to get me for Kiribati if you so choose. Please comment on this post or on the facebook event page if you are getting something, so people don't get the same thing.

(* signifies that more than one is ok)

Stationary*
Headphones
SD 1 Gig Memory Card for Digital Camera*
CD player (disman) with MP3 playback capability
Canon 5 Megapixel Digital Camera (Model A530)
Small speakers that can run off CD player or battery
Barnes & Noble/Borders Gift Certificate*
Journal*
CD Wallet w/ at least 72 slots
A good pillow
Sunglasses (durable, sporty kind) or gift certificate to a place to buy them
Adjustable head lamp with LED lighting
Good Flashlight*
Address book
Volleyball
Soccerball
Small hand pump
Polo-style short-sleeved shirt*
Nalgene Bottle*
Leathermen tool
Used or new paperback books*
Burn a CD (MP3 data CD is better than audio, if possible)*
Lightweight, non-stick pan
Small set of basic tools
Bees wax products
Sandals* (sturdy pairs that will take a lot of wear and tear)
Lonely Planet guide to Australia, New Zealand, or Fiji
Incense w/ accessories

Another big thing are gifts for other people, since money is not really used. I need to get a lot of stuff to show people my appreciation for their hospitality and support. Little things are more helpful to them than larger things, so think like a Kiribati.

Some suggestions:

Goggles
Crayons
Colored Pencils
Small musical instruments
Cheap perfumes (99cent store)
Potholders

and so on...be creative.
These are also good things to send me by mail while I'm there.
